- AFLAS™ FFKM
AFLAS™ FFKM is a fully fluorinated elastomer made from tetrafluoroethylene (C2F4) and perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (C2F3-ORf). As a type of perfluoroelastomer (FFKM), it offers excellent resistance to chemicals, heat, and plasma, as well as superior mechanical strength and compression set characteristics. It is used in harsh environments requiring high purity, heat resistance, and chemical resistance.
AFLAS™ FFKM Functions and Features
Heat resistance/ Chemical resistance/ High purity
It offers the highest level of heat and chemical resistance among fluoro-elastmer, enabling use in environments where FKM or FEPM are difficult to operate. Manufactured under clean conditions, it is also suitable for semiconductor manufacturing processes that require low metal leaching.
UL 2809 Environmental Claim Validation Achieved
This indicates that the usage ratio of recycled fluorspar is verified by a third-party organization. It contributes to reducing customers’ consumption of virgin raw materials.

AFLAS™ FFKM is also used in sealing materials exposed to strong acids, amines, and high temperatures, as found in chemical and petroleum processing facilities.
