Afluid®

Afluid® is a fluorine-based stainproof material for glass and plastic subtrates. Afluid® can improve the “slipperiness” of the substrate surface and has “water and oil repellency” properties to prevent stains such as sebum. Furthermore, Afluid® makes it easy to remove stains from substrates.

Excellemt anti-fouling property against

Outstanding anti-fouling is demonstrated by applying a nano-level thin film coating on various kinds of shapes and substrates. Coating methods are vapor deposition, spray, dip, spin or the like. We also have grades that can create stainproof surfaces by adding a small amount to hard coat liquids.

Outstanding durability

Due to the properties of fluorine, it has excellent durability such as “abrasion resistance”, “chemical resistance”, and “light resistance”, and so it retains high “stain proof characteristics” even with repeated use.

Grades by application

Afluid® has 2 types of grades. The S series is used as a coating material for applying to glass, and the IRX is used as an additive for hard coat liquids. Excellent anti-fouling is shown by applying Afluid®.

Since Afluid has properties such as “surface slipperiness” and “stainproof”,and has properties of durability such as “abrasion resistance”, “chemical resistance”, and "light resistance”,it can be used as a material for various kinds of applications which dislike stains such as "touch panels in smartphones and tablet devices" as well as "showcases" and "lens covers".

Afluid® is also applicable to the surface improvement of "plastic" and "film" touch panels as an expanding application area due to their strength and weight-saving properties.
